4th Annual UPA US Pro Tour ChampionshipMarch 7-12,2006Binions, Las Vegas Finally the UPA Finale event is here, the 4th Annual US Pro Tour Championship brought to you by Dragon Promotions! This years event will be hosted by the world famous Binions Casino & Hotel. Of course Binions is famous for the World Series of Poker, but now it will make a new history with hosting its first ever pocket billiards event. This years event will again be aired in a 4 hour production for ESPN including the quarter,semi,and Finals. Last year the US Pro Tour Championships was aired 32 times in North America alone and aired throughout the world in Asia, Latin America, and Australia. This years field will be stacked again with the world's best players including past champion Mika Immonen, BCA Open Champion Thorsten Hohmann, Mosconi Cup MVP Rodney Morris, Top 5 ranked Charlie Williams, Korea's #1 Young Hwa Jeong, Derby City Champion Ralf Souquet,2004 UPA Rookie of the Year Danny Basavich,and Captain Hook himself, Mike Sigel makes his first debut on the UPA Tour in his first major 9 Ball tour event in a decade.Of course the rest of the stars of the UPA will also be there.
As tradition, after the finals on Sunday will be the Annual UPA Year End Awards for 2005 Player of the Year, Sportsman of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and Man of the Year. New awards this year will include Most Entertaining Player and Best Dressed Player.
