ACS Nationals Introduces New Divisions in Las VegasThe second edition of American CueSports Alliance (ACS) National 8-Ball Championships moves to the Riviera Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, June 10-17, 2006. With singles divisions open to any amateur player and scotch doubles and team divisions open to ACS league members, the ACS is adding a few items to the menu:1. Men’s Super Seniors 8-Ball Singles – open to any amateur player 65 or older 6/12 - 6/14/062. Junior 8-Ball Singles – open to any amateur player 14 & Under and 18 & Under divisions in both Girls and Boys 6/12 - 6/14/06
3. Junior 8-Ball Teams – 3-person from the same ACS adult league or junior league 18 & Under – 6/15 - 6/17/064. Can/Am Snooker Challenge – Team USA vs. Team Canada facing off for North America supremacy in snooker – 6/12 - 6/14/06!5. Professional pool instructors on hand to give pointers and introduce to North America the new international “PAT Testing” system!6. Artistic Pool Challenge – 6/15 – 6/17/067. Speed Pool Championship – 6/11 – 6/14/06 Players of all skill levels can play in both 8-ball singles (6/12 – 6/14/06) and 9-ball singles (6/10 - 6/11/06) – from “Masters” to “Open” to “Standard” divisions – “Standard” being the new division in both singles and team play that accommodates players with novice to average skills!
