His past business experience includes being the executive vice president of a software company, founder of a commercial insurance brokerage, and president of two law firms.Mr. Hovey was born in Mountain Home, Idaho, on September 20, 1952. He received his BA in 1975 from the University of South Florida, and his JD from the University of California Hastings College of Law in 1983. He has served as a Judge Pro-Tem for the San Diego County Superior Court. Mr. Hovey has been rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell, their highest rating of skill and integrity, indicating very high to pre-eminent legal ability and very high ethical standards as established by confidential opinions from members of the bar.Gregg has carried this prestige straight into the billiard industry.
