Lloyd Lassoes a Billiards Win in HoustonFast Eddie’s Olhausen 9-Ball Tour / Pool and Billiards / Houston, TXHot weather didn’t deter the ladies from coming out to the eighth stop of the Fast Eddie’s Olhausen 9-Ball Tour, held in Houston, TX, the weekend of August 12-13. With the points race still up for grabs, these ladies came prepared to fight, but no one fought harder than Heather Lloyd, who finished the event undefeated.Kyu Yi, the winner of the last two events, lost her opening-round match to Anne Mayes hill-hill but then went on through the one-loss side until getting derailed by Kim Pierce in the quarterfinal match. Pierce didn’t advance much further, succumbing to Amanda Lampert in the semifinals.Lampert, the current ladies’ points leader, was eager for a rematch against Lloyd, who had defeated her for the hot seat 7-4. However, Lloyd hung on to that winning gear and came out on top 7-3.
