Mitchell Comes out on Topby Rick DavisThe sixth stop of the Kings Bay Promotions Tiger Ladies’ Tour pulled into Strokers Billiards in Palm Harbor, FL, where Stephanie Mitchell was victorious. Players raced to 7 on the winners’ side and 5 on the one-loss side in this double-elimination event, which took place throughout the day July 8th.Both Jessica Barnes and Amanda Westerman came close but couldn’t push past the fifth-place mark. Vanessa Seaver told a similar story with her fourth-place finish, a small disappointment after her third-place finish only two events ago. Tracy McCreary finished in a solid third place, her second for the season, but could not crack the top players.
Mitchell bested Niki Rasmussen in the finals, as these players are starting to take a hold on the tour. The last event saw the same match-up, although the results were flipped, and the event before that saw Mitchell take another second-place finish.
