Peach Falls to BustamanteBy InsidePOOL StaffIn the second match of the 13th Annual International Challenge of Champions, Daryl Peach fell to Francisco Bustamante 7-3. Peach, a top player from Great Britain, played well against the Filipino giant but never gained the upper hand throughout the match.From a 1-all tie in the quick race to 7, Peach fell behind to Bustamante 4-1. As with the previous match, there were no break-and-runs until later in the match. Peach, a tall, bespeckled player, capitalized on a few mistakes by his opponent and played some tough safeties as well but was dwarfed by Bustamante.
The first break-and-run occurred when Bustamante brought the score to 5-2 in his favor. A dry break for Peach led to a slopped-in 4 ball for Bustamante resulting in him reaching the hill. With a rare dry break for Bustamante, Peach turned the tables and ran out on him.
