Pechauer Southeast Open 9-Ball Tour stop at Sharpshooters in Miami, FL, where Rick Sanchez went undefeated to win the title. Players from all over the Sunshine State attended this event.
The highest lady and junior finisher not in the money each received $50, with those honors going to Janice Sessions and Anthony Meglino, respectively. The following day, the money matches ended up with tour director Tommy Kennedy defeating Brian Davalos 9-5 to move on to meet Richard Broumpton, who had just been sent to the west side by Sanchez 9-7. The semifinals went hill-hill, with Broumpton coming out the 9-8 winner.
