Top 16 Begin Sunday’s Florida Pro Tour Matchesby Rick DavisPlay continued on the Florida Pro Tour Saturday night until the top 16 were established. The winners’ side matches for Sunday shaped up to be Rodney Morris/ Dave Broxson, Jason Kirkwood/ Richie Richeson, Dennis Hatch/Carlos Viera and Michael Destefano/Troy Frank. While the matches on the one-loss side will be Sparky Ferrell/Nick Varner , Chris Bartram/Neil Fujiwara, Robb Saez/ Scotty Townsend and Ricky Sanchez/Butch Croft .A few upsets were seen as tournament director John DiToro was knocked out, along with Tony “The Sniper” Crosby and room owner Jose Del Rio. Throughout the event, players have had mixed feelings about their play, like Jason Kirkwood, who scorched his way through the winners’ side, and Robb Saez, who thought he played well but felt that his break just had not been strong during the event.View Brackets here
After the last round for the night, Donnie Mills, John Stone, Hunter Lombardo, T.F. Whittington, James Roberts, Mark Hatch, Cliff Joyner, and Richie Orem  were all eliminated, finishing in the 17-24th place bracket, andreceiving $200 for the efforts.
