Unstoppable Davis Hits YorkBlaze 9-Ball Tour / York, PA

Mike Davis turned away all challengers at the March 3-4 stop of the Blaze 9-Ball Tour to put another notch on his illustrious belt. Hosted by Ivory Billiards in York, PA, this event drew 35 of the area’s top players, including Shaun Wilkie, Ryan McCreesh, and Eddie Abraham.
Abraham led the top half of the bracket, with victories over Tyler Adolini, Joe Cataldi, Mike Finger, and Matt Krah. On the bottom half, Dick Magaro was fighting his way through to meet Abraham with wins over Joe Hong, Shawn Toni, Randy Schwager, and Davis.
The hot seat match between Abraham and Davis went back and forth, but when all was said and done, Abraham triumphed with a hill-hill victory, ushering Magaro to the one-loss side. Davis, who in the meantime had scored over Loye Bolyard and Schwager to reach the semifinals, handled Magaro easily 7-1 to advance to the finals. In a lopsided final match, Davis handed Abraham a donut, winning 7-0.
