Vidas Victorious in Toronto20K Tour / Toronto, ONTby Willy Hermoza Six players cashed at the 20K Tour’s stop June 18, but Mike Vidas took home the lion’s share with his victory in the finals. The stop was hosted by Shooters in Toronto and attracted 39 participants. Vidas went unscathed through the event, taking the hot seat with a 9-6 win over Al Lougheed, sending him to the one-loss side of the chart. Erik Hjorliefson was working his way through the west side, eliminating Ramon Mistica 9-6 and then sending Jason Klatt home with fourth place with a double-hill win. He then dispatched Lougheed 9-6, going on to face Vidas in the finals. As it was a true double-elimination match, Hjorliefson would have had to defeat Vidas twice to prevail; however, Vidas had other ideas and quickly closed the door with a 9-6 score.
