IPT Day Two Results
The sold-out crowds were treated to pool like they’ve never seen it before at the IPT King of the Hill Invitational 8-Ball Shootout in Orlando. Thirty players started yesterday, and only 15 advanced. Those 15 have been reduced to just six.
“This is really exciting,” said Rebecca Roberts, a longtime pool fan. “I’ve never seen anything like this, with all the cameras and the top notch arena. There’s never been this kind of money in pool. It’s like a boxing prizefight.”
With $1 million at stake, the Hall of Famers will join the six players who made it through today’s brutal competition to start the battle for the big money. Mika Immonen, Corey Deuel, Francisco Bustamante, Nick Van den Berg, Marlon Manalo and Johnny Archer advance to the next round.
