2004 U.S.Open 9-Ball Championships Barry Behrman has just announced that the 29th annual U.S. Open 9-Ball Championships will take place on September 6-12, 2004.The VIP seating enables those who plan to attend all week, or only Tuesday-Sunday, Wednesday-Sunday, Thursday-Sunday, or Friday-Sunday to pay pro-rated prices. Purchase tickets beginning April 1, 2004, on a first-come, first-served basis, live in real time, on the World Wide Web. The U.S. Open player entry fee is $500. After September 1, 2004, the entry is $550, no exceptions. There is $50,000 added minimum, and with a full field of 256, Barry will add $72,000, which equals a total prize fund of $200,000 with the champion taking home $40,000. With a full field, 96 players will be paid.Barry is asking all room owners for their support for as many U.S. Open qualifiers to hopefully fill up the field.
