Adams and Meraglio Win on the Tiger Tourby Rick DavisJeff Adams fought back from the one-loss side to win the final match in the open division of the Tiger Planet 9-Ball Tour, while Tina Meraglio went undefeated to claim the title in the women’s event. The tour swung into Bill & Billies Cuesports in Arnold, MD, July 8-9, for these double-elimination 8-ball events.On the open board, Adams came from an early loss to defeat Thuan Dui 4-1 and then proceeded to eliminate Trevor Dentz 4-2 after Nick Prinsloo sent Dentz to the one-loss side with a 5-3 victory in the hot seat match. In the finals, Adams faced off against the waiting Prinsloo and steadily took rack after until he captured the match 7-3.
In the women’s division, Marcie Hanisee was sent to the west side after being defeated in the hot seat match 4-3 by Tina Meraglio. Hanisee then faced off against Kathleen Lawless and sprinted by 3-0, returning to face Meraglio.
