One of the most exceptional matches of the afternoon was between early tournament favorite Shannon “The Cannon” Daulton and Viking Cue player rep Dennis “The Bear” Coulter. Regarding his stunning 3-1 victory over Daulton, Coulter commented, “I think I caught him off guard. I think he thought I was a lot weaker player than he was.” Coulter gives a great deal of credit to Joe Salazar of Salazar Cues for immensely improving his one-pocket game.
