Another Victory for HjorliefsonCanadian 30K Tour / Barrie, ONT

From out of the cold in Barrie, ONT, 46 fine billiard players arrived to burn up the tables on the Canadian 30K Tour’s Dunlop Billiards stop. Frequent winner Erik Hjorliefson did not disappoint this January 27-28 weekend, notching yet another top finish.
To reach the hot seat match, Hjorliefson narrowly escaped a hill-hill battle with Mike Baker to meet up with Ron Ranalli, whom he handled easily 10-1. Mike Leigh finished in fourth place after an exciting double-hill loss in the quarterfinals to Chris Jenkins. Yet another hill-hill match erupted between Jenkins and Ranalli, who ended up relegated to third place. In the finals, Jenkins landed the first set hill-hill while everyone sat motionless in their seats, but Hjorliefson wrested the second set from him when Jenkins landed out of position for the 9 ball and missed a safety shot.
