Held at Mr. Cues II in Atlanta, GA, this event, with its $25,000 in prize money, will conclude on Sunday, March 14.Tournament director Cathey Jennings is working overtime to ensure the success of the event, and after the first two complete rounds were played last night, almost all of the top 16 seeds advanced. Nikki Hollingsworth upset Janet Atwell and sent her to the one-loss side, and Tiffany Nelson suffered a defeat at the hands of Michelle Rankin, but other than that, things seem to be progressing as expected.
Karen Corr, Allison Fisher, Helena Thornfeldt, Monica Webb, Vivian Villareal, Sarah Ellerby, Kelly Fisher, and Romana Dokovic all remain in the winners’ side of the chart and will play Saturday afternoon.
