BCA Expo Booth Sales Off to Strong Start Colorado Springs, CO - Booth space sales are brisk for the 2005 International Billiard & Home Recreation Expo according to the latest report from the Expo's producer W.T. Glasgow, Inc. As of July 20, 2004, 80 exhibitors have sent in contracts to reserve 589 booths for the 2005 Expo. This compares to 12 exhibitors who had sent in contracts for 119 booths as of July 22, 2003. Three of the registered companies are first-time exhibitors: Digital Dining Menusoft (restaurant point-of-sale software - http://www.digitaldining.com/) Global Sources USA (home casino and poker products - http://www.globalsourcesusa.com/) and Universal Laser Systems (computer-controlled laser systems - http://www.ulsinc.com/) - see below for a complete list of 2005 exhibitors. "The 2004 Expo was a big success, and we're building on that success for an even better event in 2005" said Billiard Congress of America (BCA) Executive Director Stephen D. Ducoff. "We are still analyzing data from a recent member survey that focused on the Expo, but preliminary results indicate that the April time frame was positive for most exhibitors and was heavily favored by buyers." The BCA's Trade Show / Services Committee is developing programs and services to attract more retailers and room operators and make the Expo efficient and effective for buyers and exhibitors alike. Details on these programs and services will be communicated to the industry as they are confirmed. Looking ahead, the 2006 Expo will be held April 6-8 in Houston, TX. Cities and dates through 2013 are under review by the BCA Trade Show / Services Committee.
