BCA Open 9-Ball Championships Begin By InsidePOOL StaffThe BCA Open 9-Ball event kicked off o­n Sunday, May 16, at the Riviera Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV.  With 64 of the world's top men and as many excellent women competing in two separate divisions, these tournaments promise to be some of the best of this year.In the women's division, Karen "The Irish Invader" defeated Allison Fisher last year for top honors, while Ralf "The Surgeon" Souquet won the men's title by besting Francisco Bustamante.  This year these four players have returned, in addition to many other fine cue artists from all over the world.Click here to see the o­nline tournament brackets
Shin-Mei Lui, Hsin Huang, Miyuki Sakai, and Ga Young Kim make up some of the international field in the women's division.
