Back to Billiards Early-Bird Deadline ExtendedExhibitors have added time to saveColorado Springs, Colorado: The Billiard Congress of America [BCA] recently announced the extension of its early-bird deadline for exhibitors to contract for the new Back to Billiards Expo in Baltimore, August 10-12, 2006. Prospective exhibitors may still realize discounts on booth fees, through January 30, 2006. The BCA's Back to Billiards "preseason kickoff for everything billiards" is designed to generate momentum for the final retail quarter of the year with a business-to-business wholesale event, open only to authorized dealers and room operators. Dealers will be able to select from among the latest product lines offered by all of the major manufacturers and stock up just before the busy holiday season. The timing is ideal for those who placed an order in April but need to fill in their inventory, as well as for those who are unable to place orders at the spring Expo due to the nature of their business.
A separate billiard fair will be open to the public, who will be invited to take part in special events like trick shot contests and demos, Challenge-A-Pro and mini-clinics geared toward families and enthusiasts of all ages. In conjunction with the event, the BCA will host its inaugural "Battle of the BCA Champions" professional 8-Ball invitational, with finals taped for later broadcast on ESPN, and Dave Pearson "The Ginger Wizard" will make an official attempt at setting another in a series of Guiness World Book records.The first annual Back to Billiards "Preseason Kickoff for Everything Billiards" Expo will take place at the Baltimore Convention Center on Baltimore's Inner Harbor, August 10-12, 2006.Visit Inside POOL Magazine for the latest pool and billiard news.
