Bell Captures Women’s 9-Ball Event at Windy City Open Tom Martin, InsidePOOL MagazinePam Bell has captured the Windy City Open Women’s 9-Ball event, defeating Amy Latzko 7-5. Both players battled fiercely, with Bell capitalizing on some early mistakes to jump to a 3-0 and 4-2 lead, only to see her opponent climb back to tie the set at 5-5. Bell won the next game to go on the hill but gave Latzko life with a missed 6 ball. Latzko looked to be out but watched in shock as the cueball floated into the corner after a rare error on an easy 8. Debbie Wilson placed third, with Linda Cruz taking the fourth spot.
