Billiards Congress of America Seeks Board NomineesBCA Board seeks Election Candidates for 2007Colorado Springs, Colorado - The Billiard Congress of America (BCA) Board of Directors has begun the process of identifying and reviewing candidates for open board seats in the upcoming round of elections. Chaired by current board member Kathy Vegh, the Nominating Committee is responsible for guiding the process of compiling the official ballot for 2007 and putting it before the membership for vote.
One of the benefits of BCA membership is the ability to take part in shaping the course of the billiard industry, by selecting representation to the BCA Board of Directors each year. The 2007 Nominating Committee is in the process of soliciting nominees for a total of six seats that will come up for election in the coming months — four in the voting category, and one each in the retail and room operator categories.Election results are reported at the general membership meeting, held in conjunction with the annual BCA Expo.
