Billiards Referee Class To Be Conducted at 2007 ACS Nationals in Las VegasA National billiard referee training class open to anyone desiring to gain certification in a national program will be conducted at the Riviera Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, June 10-12 – during the 2007 ACS Nationals, produced by the American CueSports Alliance (ACS). Interested parties must have passed an open-book, ACS Referee test prior to attending the class and must have officially joined the ACS Referee Program. Class hours are flexible, with entrants taking either a 4-hour class in the mornings or a 4-hour class in the afternoons on each day. Additionally, all trainees will be required to complete 12 hours floor training. Class registration fee is $75, payable onsite.
Successful completion of the course by the individual will result in accreditation at “ACS National Referee” level. For information on taking the test prior to the class and reserving your spot for the class, please contact ACS Referee Program Administrator, Betty Harris, at (970) 256-7665 or bharris@americancuesports.org.Deadlines for entry into the divisions of play at the ACS Nationals include April 30, with a late fee of $25 to accompany any entries mailed thereafter until May 14.
