One $1,000-added stop, hosted by Leisure Time Billiards in E. Moline, IL, boasted 41 players, with local Jamey Bowman coming out on top for the title.
The American CueSports Alliance-produced handicapped event featured a double-elimination format on bar boxes. In the hot seat match, Bowman clipped Jim LaFavre 5-4. Bowman had earlier defeated his brother, Jesse, 5-5 and Dan Kuhl 5-4. In the one-loss bracket, Rich Bideaux eliminated Jesse Bowman 5-5; LaFavre ousted Bideaux 5-4; and Kuhl outgunned Jeremy Schroeder 5-3. The semifinal match came down to Kuhl upending LaFavre 5-4 to share the final match with Bowman.
