(July 9, 2004) -- Brunswick Billiards is busy this summer doing what it does best - providing people with the highest-quality billiards tables. In the next few weeks, the people who will be playing on these expertly designed tables are the best of the best, as they compete in two international pool championships. Brunswick will be sponsoring the 2004 World Pool Championship at the World Trade Center in Taipei, Taiwan, July 10-18. The official tables for the event will be Brunswick’s newest tournament table, the Metro™. Some of the table’s unique features that add to its exclusive contemporary style include super-wide elliptical shaped rails, brushed aluminum accents, and the same deep pockets that are used on the legendary Gold Crown IV®.
