CAT Tour Cancels 2005 SeasonBy InsidePOOL StaffThe Chesapeake Area Tour, or CAT, has cancelled its 2005 season and has left 2006 in doubt.  In an email from Eve Hall, Patricia Spurgeon, and Holly Ryan dated January 23, the owners and tour directors apologized for the late notice, but did not cite specific reasons for the cancellation."It is with deep sorrow that we must now inform you of our intention to cancel our 2005 season," read the statement.  "We may or may not start back up again with the 2006 season."The press release also stated that any questions can be answered by calling CAT at 703-619-0337 or by logging o­nto their website at www.chesapeakeareatour.com.   Visit InsidePOOL for the latest news in the sport of billiards and pool.
