Daniel Does it Again in BilliardsKBP Central Florida Tour / Longwood, FLby Rick DavisBilliard player Tim Daniel sliced through the chart undefeated to take his second top finish on the KBP Central Florida Tour. Held in Longwood, FL, at Fast Break Billiards, the 25-player field met for the tour’s fifteenth stop October 22. Tearing through four rounds, Daniel found himself in the hot seat match against Mark Peters, and in no time Daniel was sitting pretty waiting for his final opponent.
On the one-loss side, tour regulars Tony Vicari and Richard Knight were making a comeback and were soon to meet. Knight had destroyed JR Foreman 5-2, while Vicari did one better, eliminating Glen Lynch 5-1. Vicari caught a gear and shut out Knight 5-0 and with the new momentum eliminated Peters 5-2 to reach the finals.Daniel and Vicari went back and forth in the extended race to 9 until Daniel was able to take an opening to secure the match 9-7.
