Pechauer Southeast Open 9-Ball Tour hit Miami, FL, John Ditoro was ready to defend his home turf. He fought off the 38-player field at Sunset Billiards to take first place the weekend of January 20-21.
Gail Grecar was the top lady in the field, as Anthony Meglino was the highest-finishing junior; each received $50 for those distinctions. On Day Two, the money matches began, with tour director besting Ditoro in a hill-hill nail-biter in the hot seat match 9-8. Once on the west side of the chart, Ditoro faced down Chip Klein 9-7 to earn a rematch against Kennedy.
