Matches will take place in both brackets this evening, and the final count going into Saturday will be 24.In the afternoon rounds in the “B” side, Canadian champion “Machine Gun” Luc Salvas bested Texas’ hope Charlie Bryant in a quick 11-7 match. Larry Nevel advanced over John Macias and will meet Salvas in a later round. Danny “Kid Delicious” Basavich is still going strong in the one-loss side after his 11-9 victory over Troy Frank, and he will play Shaun Wilkie tonight, who bested Danny Kolacz 11-1.
After defeating Ricky Binghamton 11-6, Chris Loar will meet Ty Wilson, who bested Donnie Mills 11-5. Sweden’s Marcus Chamat was eliminated by Korean number-one Young Hwa Jeong 11-8, and Chamat will play Earl Strickland tonight, who defeated Nashville player Bobby Pickle 11-7.Filipino Rodolfo Luat was eliminated by Chris Orme 11-7, who will match up with Robb Saez, who was victorious over Keith Bennett 11-7. Johnny “The Scorpion” Archer defeated Canada’s Eddie Galati 11-5 and will play Erik Hjorliefson, who won his match against Jason Cruz 11-9.Italy’s Fabio Petroni eliminated Ryan McCreesh 11-6 and will play New Yorker Frankie Hernandez, who bested Chuck Raulston 11-9. After taking out Paul Potier 11-7, Shannon “The Cannon” Daulton will match up with Visit InsidePOOL for the latest news in the sport of billiards and pool.
