Fingerhut Takes Down Amsterdam Billiards FieldTri-State Tour / New York, NYby Rick DavisNaomi Fingerhut blew through the 28-player field at the latest Tri-State Tour stop to go undefeated. Taking place at Amsterdam Bar and Billiards in New York, NY, the C/D handicapped event was the tour’s offering during the November 18 weekend.Fingerhut faced Bob Riley in the hot seat match after they both posted two solid wins in the previous round, with Riley defeating Amit Kumar 7-4 and Fingergut besting James Dellarata 6-3. The hot seat battle tipped each way until finally, tied at 5-all, Fingerhut made a move to take the match 7-5.
On the one-loss side Dellarata made it past Kumar then ran out of steam against Riley. Riley had come from behind to get back in the match, and then took his final rack by virtue of a three-foul, defeating Dellarata 7-5.
