Harriman Ousts McCready at Glass City By InsidePOOL StaffIn the afternoon rounds Saturday on the one-loss side at the Glass City Open, Danny “The Springfield Flash” Harriman defeated Keith McCready in a hill-hill battle. The Glass City Open began last Thursday and will conclude on Sunday, November 16, 2003.Down 7-3, McCready was facing imminent elimination at the hands of Harriman. With a few combo’ed 9 balls in the following racks, “Earthquake” managed to tie the score on the hill. Harriman, winner of the Derby City Classic 9-ball banks division early this year, broke and played safe on the 2 ball. McCready hit the 2 and left it in front of the corner pocket. Forced to play a kick, McCready hit the 3 and left a tough slice for his opponent, who made the shot and ran out the remaining balls to win the match 10-9.
