Hiedrich Maneuvers to the TopBinghamton, NY / CNY 9-Ballby Matthew PingorShort and sweet is fitting for the CNY 9-Ball Tour’s stop at Binghamton Family Billiards in Binghamton, NY. The January 8 event saw Danny Hiedrich pummel the 22-player field and take a first-place prize of $325. In the hot seat match, Hiedrich dismissed Doug Wells with little effort. Paul Enslin put on a show against Bob Fuller, who rode in on an earlier triumph over 12-year-old powerhouse Ryan Mayo. But his efforts fell short when Enslin battered Fuller 7-5. Enslin stayed on a roll during the semifinals. With no quarter asked, he ran to a 7-4 victory. A ready Hiedrich had his rest before the finals, while Enslin was anxious to throw down. Composed, Hiedrich withstood the talent of Enslin. As Enslin was just hanging on, Hiedrich stepped up the pace and put several wins on the board before ending the match 8-5.Results:1st Danny Hiedrich2nd Paul Enslin3rd Doug Wells4th Bob Fuller5th Gary LloydRyan MayoVisit InsidePOOL Magazine for the latest news from the sport of billiards and pool.
