It's Miller Time on the 10K TourBy Bill RosenbergerShawn Miller dominated the 39-player field at Pool Paradise in Waterloo, ontario, on December 19, 2004, to earn an undefeated victory on the 10K Tour. Miller, who hasn't played much on the tour, beat out regulars like Mario Morra, Jeff Robson, and D.J. McInley to take home the win. When it came down to the hot seat match, Miller and Al Lougheed had emerged with undefeated records. The two kept the match close, and Miller took the hill-hill victory 7-6. Lougheed then faced the young Jeff Robson in the semifinals, and he overcame Robson getting three games on the wire to win the match and advance to the finals. It was Miller time all tournament long but especially so in the finals. Miller faced Lougheed again, and it was the same ending as Lougheed had to settle for second, while Miller rejoiced in his 7-3 victory.
