In the loser’s bracket semifinals, Mark Nelson [5] (Bettendorf, IA) eliminated Tommy Hernandez [6] (E. Moline, IL) 5-2. Nelson then eliminated Bideaux 5-3 in the loser’s bracket finals to share the final’s seat with Flenoi. Flenoi did not want to go to a second set, so he took out Mark Nelson 5-3 in the first set of the finals.
