Dennis "The Bear" Coulter had a hill-hill match against Wade Crane that Coulter ultimately won. Joss Tour's Player of the Year, Ronnie Alcano, defeated the showy Rob Saez 11-3. Warren Kiamco won his match against Dick Lane 11-8. Robert Doral was shut out in his match with John Horsfall 11-0. Troy Frank fell to Rafael Martinez 11-4. Runner-up in the 9-ball event at Derby City, Max Eberle won his match against Dorin Olivier via forfeit. And Buddy "The Rifleman" Hall defeated Timmy Hall by the decisive score of 11-2.
