Taking place August 19 at Fast Break Billiards in Longwood, FL, a modest turn-out offered some series pocket billiard matches.Finding herself on the one-loss side early, Mitchell swept her way through several matches to reach the last round on the one-loss side. On the winners’ side, Jennifer Nelson and Jessica Barnes faced off, with Nelson claiming the hot seat after a hill-hill victory. With Mitchell waiting, Barnes headed to the one-loss side, and again a double-hill match spelled her doom.
Mitchell played Nelson for the top spot, and, staying with the trend of the day, another double-hill match unfolded. Once the dust settled, Mitchell had emerged victorious to claim the first place points and prize.Results:1st Stephanie Mitchell2nd Jennifer Nelson3rd Jessica Barnes
