In the 10 p.m. round, there were two matches in each bracket. Dennis Hatch was the first one done, besting Stoney Stone 11-4. Hatch will advance to the hot seat match Sunday afternoon, where he will play local legend Steve Moore. In the one-loss side matches, Archer will live to see another day, defeating Jessie Middlebrook 11-5, and Chris Bartram had a hard-earned 11-8 win over Keith Bennett.Moore's match against Sparky Ferrell was the main draw of the evening, as the Duluth resident is a popular entrant to this event. With a couple of 9 balls dropped on the break, it wasn't long before Moore held a 5-1 lead. Ferrell won three racks in a row, and then the players traded a couple of racks until Moore shot ahead to win the match 11-6. Hatch defeated Moore in last weekend's Florida Pro Tour event, and he warned, "I owe him one."Tomorrow's matches begin at noon.
