The weather was wet and wind, but Millie’s Billiards kept the 31 players nice and warm as young gun John Morra took off with the first-place prize.Coming through the winners’ bracket, Morra matched up with Jeff White in the hot seat match, where he earned his only loss for the weekend. On the one-loss side, frequent tour winner Eric Hjorliefson didn’t have much luck, going down to Mario Morra in the quarterfinal match.
Now down to the nitty gritty, father and son matched up in the semifinals, with John Morra triumphing over his dad to advance to the finals against White.
