New online Marketing Tools for BCA Business Members (Colorado Springs, CO) The Billiard Creative Agency II(tm), an online members-only marketing tool kit, is now live and ready for use by Billiard Congress of America (BCA) business members and instructors. The BCA unveiled its newest member benefit at the 2003 BCA International Trade Expo held July 10 -12, 2003 at the Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV. BCA Business members and instructors receive a personalized user name and password to access the Billiard Creative Agency II(tm) through the BCA website. once in this area, visitors have access to marketing and PR advice (Cue Tips and PR Cue Tips), design inspiration and templates (Design Rack) and 50 royalty-free images (Image Pool). Cue Tips features 10 topics such as ad taglines (five pages worth!), photography tips, website checklist, creative promotional techniques and financial proposal advice. PR Cue Tips covers 10 important PR topics such as how to work with the media, how to participate in Billiards Awareness Month (October) and press release samples that can be copied and customized. Design Rack includes almost 40 design templates or inspiration pieces for direct mail, print ads, brochures, web banners, greeting cards, coupons, flyers and posters. The templates are editable documents in PDF format that allow a user to add their own text, but not to add images or logos. To receive files that allow a graphic designer to add and manipulate images, the Design Rack CD is available from the BCA for a nominal fee.
Image Pool provides members with 50never-before-seen images of people enjoying pool at home or in a billiard room. These images are royalty-free, meaning that members can use the images repeatedly at no charge. The two types of images to download directly from the website are: low-resolution color images, suitable for web use; and high-resolution black & white images, suitable for print. All of the images are available in high-resolution color format on the Image Pool CD that is also available from the BCA for a nominal fee. Rosanne Gain of RG Public Relations provided the PR Cue Tips. Tom Keller, a well-known Hollywood photographer (www.tomkeller.com) was the photographer for the home images. Dave Thomson of Medium Pool directed Mr. Keller's photo shoots. One of the featured suggestions of the Billiard Creative Agency II(tm) is the annual National Billiard Awareness Month, which is taking place in October.
