Pechauer Tour Kicks Off Second YearThe second season of the West Coast Pechauer Tour, organized and run by On The Wire Billiard Promotions, is scheduled to kick off with a $2,000 added event at Jay’s Billiards on October 18-19 in Inglewood, California. "We are excited to see the tour grow! It is our goal to someday emulate the East Coast in event quantity and participation, and after the overwhelming response in its first year, we are confident that our goals are within reach," stated Steve Lingelbach of On The Wire Billiard Promotions.
New tour sponsors include industry heavyweights Simonis, official cloth of the Pechauer West Coast Tour; Silver Cup chalk, official chalk of the tour; Accu-Stats Video Productions, official video of the tour; and Tiger Products with the new X-shaft, Tiger Paw, Jump-Break Tip, and Stack Wrap. "The Pechauer West Coast Tour is proud to have the opportunity to represent the promotion of these sponsors. We look forward to the challenge of another year!" commented Lingelbach, who then added, "We learned a lot from the first year and are ready to run fifty percent more stops in the upcoming season." With the continuous backing of title sponsor J. Pechauer Custom Cues and the official case of the tour, Joe Porper’s Creative Inventions, this year's tour events will be even bigger and better than the first year’s. Most of the events are anticipated to be $2,000 added, at least one mid-year $5,000 added, with a $10,000-added finals. At the same time, The West Coast Pechauer Tour will be lowering entry fees across the board to encourage more participation from the local areas.
