Saturday Action at the Seminole Florida Pro TourAs the second half of Saturday played out, it was obvious that this stop of the tour would be a complete upset. Wayne Catledge, currently ranked 42nd, and Brian Butler, ranked 46th, hit Charlie Williams with back-to-back hits, knocking “The Korean Dragon” out of the tournament. Meanwhile, the number-two ranked Mika Immonen lost to long-time pro John DiToro (pictured right) and then again to Luis Viera, eliminating “Iceman.”
Previous champion on this tour, Robb Saez won three straight matches after his first loss, moving into Sunday’s rounds. Richie Richeson and Luis Viera did the same and will also appear in Day 2. on the winners’ side of the field, Ray Martin will play Richard Broumpton on Sunday, Donnie Mills will play Marek Derek, Ronnie Wiseman plays Mario Cruz, and John DiToro plays Rodney Morris.As the smoke cleared today, four losses made it into the money as David Ross, Brian Butler, Brian Yi, and Edgardo Ramirez each received $150 in prize money.
