Shin Scoops a Blaze Billiards StopBlaze 9-Ball Tour / Levittown, NYby Rick DavisThe twenty-ninth stop of the 2006 Blaze tour was owned by Park Shin, who went undefeated through the November 18 event. Thirty-six players visited Leisure Time Billiards in Levittown, NY, for the double-elimination action.It was Shin and Oscar Bonilla who made their way to the hot seat match, each with five strong wins. In the hot seat match Shin was on fire and torched Bonilla 7-3. On the one-loss side Sean Morgan made it past Jorge Rodriguez in the quarterfinals, although Bonilla wasn’t ready to go home yet and eliminated Morgan 6-4 to continue play.
The finals saw a rematch between Shin and Bonilla with nearly the same outcome as their first encounter.
