The Monk Teaches Pool and Billiards at University of Illinois at Chicago SeminarTim “The Monk” Miller has been teaching billiards to pool players for decades. His teachings have touched millions the world over. In his latest venture, The Monk visited the University of Illinois at Chicago to work with future Monk Master Teachers. While conducting classes there, 7 billiard instructors earned the title of Monk Master Teacher. Ruby Vega (pictured right with The Monk) was one of the individuals named as a Monk Master Teacher. Ruby began her work with The Monk in Orlando Florida a year ago. She teaches the following Monk 101 subjects.

If a player is New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Germany, Singapore, England or the U.S., they will be able to rely upon a Monk Master teaching them from the same textbook. All Monk Masters goes through an intensive training program before they graduate. First they receive an associate’s degree. They then go on to receive a bachelor’s degree. Finally, they achieve the master level with a master’s degree from The Monk Masters University. Each Monk Master will host a stop on The Monk’s Secrets Revealed Tour. The Monk will visit these cities in December and offer a comprehensive two day seminar on the “Ultimate Secrets of Pocket Billiards”. Students and players are encouraged to make plans to attend.
