U S OPEN 9-BALL CABLE TV SERIES PREMIER13-Week Broadcast Series Begins Monday, January 5th The 2003 U S Open 9-Ball Championship series broadcast begins January 5th at 7:00 PM on Empire Sports Network and January 9th at 4:00 PM on Sunshine Network. Schedule and updates can be found online, where online viewing is also available. All 13 feature matches taped at the 2003 Championship event will be broadcast in succession beginning with Buddy Hall versus Keith McCready. Each weekly broadcast is has a set schedule on each cable network with several repeats weekly. Sunshine Network will air 40 hours of the billiard programming through Feb 27, 2004. Empire Sports Network has yet to release the entire schedule, but will broadcast an equal number of hours of the event via its Buffalo, NY based cable sports network. For pool fans who can't wait for the new weekly broadcast or desires to see the full-length, unedited version, each match can also be seen in its entirety online. This new online pay-per-view option allows for a seven day window of opportunity to view the match of choice after the time of purchase.
