Undefeated Chen Wins in WaterlooCanadian 30K Tour / Waterloo, ONT

Though there were a couple of other high-level billiard tournaments going on the weekend of January 20-21, the Canadian 30K Tour drew in 25 of their top players to Pool Paradise in Waterloo, ONT, where Kenny Chen battled against the onslaught to take first place.
Chen went undefeated through the event, winning over Neil Mills 7-4 to reach the hot seat match against Paul Edgar, where he also prevailed 8-4 to send Edgar to the left side of the chart.
On the west side, Jason Holdaway and Jeff Lohmer were fighting for fourth place, with Holdaway making quick work of his opponent 8-0 to advance. Edgar went down next, as Holdaway ran over him 9-4 en route to the finals. A seesaw battle ensued between Holdaway and Chen, but the latter refused to be defeated, winning the match to take the title.
