Pechauer Southeast Open 9-Ball Tour visited the tidelands of Georgetown, SC, the weekend of August 26-27. Yauhannah Billiards hosted the tour’s $1,000-added stop, which attracted a field of 33, with Brian White proving himself the best on the bar boxes.Jay Bird made him way to the hot seat match against Josh Roberts and bested him with a strong 9-3 score. On the other side of the chart, White was struggling through to the quarterfinals against Scott Rabon, whom he defeated 9-7. Now on to the semifinal match, White was faced with Roberts. Neither player was willing to give up the advantage, and the match seesawed to double-hill, with White ultimately prevailing 9-8. On a roll now, White was not to be trifled with, defeating Bird soundly 11-6 in the final match.
