However, the American pair, who have played together in numerous Mosconi Cups will be a far more difficult prospect and Hong Kong will have to perform at their best without any mistakes if they are to continue their World Cup adventure.Number one seeds and tournament favourites Philippines conclude the quarter-final matches and will be confident of beating unseeded Czech Republic. The Filipino duo of Efren Reyes and Francisco Bustamante has played every match in front of a large crowd and will be heavily expected to secure a place in the last four.Czech Republic are underdogs for the game but Roman Hybler and Michal Gavenciak have done well to reach this stage with wins against ninth seeds Poland and eighth seeds Canada.The two semi finals will take place on Sunday afternoon (beginning at 2pm local time) and either Philippines or Czech Republic will meet the winners of Taiwan v Germany while USA or Hong Kong face Italy or Vietnam.The final of the first ever World Cup will be held on Sunday evening in a race to 13 format.
